About
Alex Burton is a designer and artworker based in Liverpool.
Wait! I’m Alex Burton. Why am I talking in third person?
I’m a multidisciplinary designer. My main body of
technical skill and experience lies in brand identity,
UI/UX, digital design and editorial. I’m proficient in
Adobe CC, from Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and
XD to AfterEffects, PremierePro and general Adobe suite.
I’m also building up a strong skillset in creative artworking in my new role as Junior Creative Artworker at Zeal Creative, where I work within the design team under the senior creative artworker and designers to amend, refine and rework in-store and out-of-home marketing for some of the largest FMCG brands in the world. That’s the creative side- the artworker side sees me creating print-ready files with meticulous, unyielding precision. Just how I like it.
When I have time I keep bees, thru-hike, wild camp and listen to incredible cowboy ballads. I’m a naturally curious person, always want to learn more, and because of this, I find myself constantly picking up new hobbies and tricks- like 3D modelling, which I’m currently learning.
Going forward, I’d love the opportunity to apply
my design skills and experience in a studio/agency environment, both for the social aspect of being with like-minded people, and for the opportunity to work across the bredth and depth of the design industry.
